Hakkari deputy Esat Canan confirms the importance of Roj TV for people in northern kurdistan

Esat Canan Hakkari MP from the main opposition Party (CHP), whose participation in ROJ TV have caused baseless attacks against his person in some turkish press, in a lengthy interview late thursday night with ATV Avrupa channel's Teke Tek programme objectively analysed the recent events in the province and defended his right to give interview to ROJ. He said among other things " Before me many people from all walks of life have given interviews to ROJ TV. Every body in Turkey knows that ROJ TV is very popular among the people in the South East. I can say at least %90 of the population there watch ROJ TV and that is an open fact".
