Kurds in Armenia Support ROJ TV

200 persons including kurdish intellectuals and their friends in Yerivan , capital of Armenia have signed a petition in support of ROJ TV. The petition have beenhanded over to the American Embassy in Yerivan. For the sake of informing public opinion about the pressures exerted on ROJ TV a pamphphlet in Arminian language has been distributed among the public.
In the pamphlet the importance of ROJ TV for kurds has been emphasized and it is stated that eventual closing down of ROJ TV is not just a justure of animosity towards the will of millions of kurdish viewers, but at the same it will be a setback to the free speech and freedom of thought in Denmark also.
